Pastor John Mattern
Pastor John is originally from Nappanee, Indiana. He grew up in church but never had a personal relationship with God until his freshman year of high school when he accepted Christ at the State Youth Convention. In the summer of 1997, Pastor John accepted a call to ministry and transferred from Purdue University to Anderson University. In 2000, he graduated with a BA in Christian Ministries (In-Profession) and a minor in Bible. Pastor John is continuing his education with the Anderson University School of Theology and is about one third of the way through his Masters of Divinity program.
Pastor John has served as a youth pastor in Connersville, Indiana and Columbus, Ohio. He spent over five years in Springfield, IL working as an associate pastor with emphasis in youth ministry and Christian education. Pastor John has been in Greensburg since March of 2006.
