LEAD PASTOR
PASTOR TERRY CANFIELD 
|
Terry is a Christ-Follower, husband, father, son, brother and pastor. He is the husband of Ruth, and the father of adult sons Josh and Nate. Born and raised in northeast Ohio, he is an avid Buckeye fan. He loves to help people find their giftedness and how and where they can use that giftedness to serve. He is passionate about helping people find peace in and through Jesus Christ. His greatest desire is to make more and better disciples of Jesus Christ. Not too often at a loss for words, he loves to engage people in conversation to hear their life story and better understand where they are coming from. He loves to hang out with people…eating, golfing, or just having fun. He became Lead Pastor at First Church of God, Greensburg in June, 2016. In May, 2025 he will celebrate 46 years in ministry.

ASSOCIATE PASTOR
PASTOR DARREN COVINGTON

Darren, and his wife Abbie, have been a part of First Church of God, Greensburg since 2009 and as Associate Pastor since 2011. They have one son, William, who is 6 years old. Darren was born and raised on the far southeast side of Indianapolis, but has called Greensburg his home since 2008. Darren's day job is as Executive Vice President for the Indiana Pharmacists Association. Darren loves teaching and leading small groups and seeing people grow in their relationship with Jesus Christ. His main ministry is helping newcomers become a part of the First Church of God family and discipleship.
